#Pocalypso | Happy 99th Birthday

2020-04-14 – My Dad, Norman Froikin was born 99 years ago.

He’s been gone for a while. Life goes on. I think of him, usually without warning. But we do think of him on his birthday. Usually, there’s a text from my brother or sister: “Happy Birthday, Dad!” Today’s the 99th.

And today, thanks to the pandemic, we are getting together for the first time via the web. We never thought of doing that before. We’ll see who shows up. I’m sure his kids (us) will be there. And maybe the grandkids.

Some families are separate by the pandemic for the first time. We’ve been separated for years. We live in different parts of the country. But we will be together for Dad’s birthday.
