2015-11-17 – On questions of war and peace, people are normally classified as doves or hawks. But let me add one other category—

Vultures.

Vultures are scavengers. They don’t do the kill themselves. But when there is a kill, they flock to the site of the kill to feast on the remains.

We’ve seen a lot of vultures in the aftermath of Friday’s attack on Paris.

Folks who don’t like Obama blame Obama. Folks who like Obama blame Bush. Gun enthusiasts say that none of this would have happened if France allowed concealed carry (good guys with guns would have taken care of everything). Folks who like Israel say, see I told you so. Folks who like Palestine say that Netanyahu is in bed with ISIS. And so on. And so on.
